Role Expectations
Following are the expectations from the content writer once the onboarding is complete:
The content writer is expected to write 32 Blogs in a month. The KPI numbers are subject to change as per the latest contract.
The topics assigned shall be from the combined Content Calendar that will be shared with the content writer.
The written articles must be submitted by every Friday evening of that week.
Only in case of emergencies, the content writer may submit the articles with a delay of not more than 1 day. This means that in no case the articles can be submitted later than Saturday evening of the week.
If there is any doubt, queries, issues regarding the process or topics assigned, these must be raised on Monday itself once he/she receives the weekly assignment email.
The content must be submitted in accordance with the content guidelines provided to the candidate.
There will be a KPI review meeting every Monday evening to discuss the progress and target achievement of the team as well as individuals.
For other content types, such as video or social media, the KPIs shall be decided and finalized by the reporting manager each month.
If the content writer fails to meet the KPIs (targets), he/she shall be marked half-day or full-day absent for the number of days this happens. This shall be at the discretion of his/her reporting manager.
The content writer is expected to attend a daily team meeting scheduled at 6 PM.
Every blog will be sent to an assigned reviewer for approval. The reviewer will review the content on the set guidelines. If the blog doesn't meet the criteria, it will be sent back to the writer for changes. If a blog is sent back to the writer for more than 2 times, the particular blog will be rejected & won't be counted in the KPIs.
Performance review
There will be a weekly and monthly performance review meeting.
The objective of the weekly review meeting is to monitor and review each writer's progress for the week and suggest improvements and a future course of action.
If a content writer consistently exceeds the KPIs, he/she will be accordingly incentivized. The management will decide on the incentives from time to time.
If a content writer fails to meet weekly targets consistently for more than two weeks, he/she will be reviewed. The writers are urged not to underachieve for more than two weeks. The reporting manager may prescribe a suitable correction course based on the situation.
The writers who meet goals consistently shall be considered for the ‘Weekly Best Performer’ roster and will stand a chance to win weekly rewards.
In cases of extreme dereliction or not achieving targets for a month, the content writer shall be put under notice period and if the content writer fails to improve in the notice period, he/she shall be terminated from his/her services.
In the monthly review meeting, the overall progress for the month shall be reviewed and accordingly future course of action shall be decided. This review shall be for the team progress as well as individual progress of the team members.
